I just loaded up the new build and I think I'm seeing about a 10-15 fps bump (maybe more).  Can't remember exactly where I was at before (should have wrote it down), but it's pretty significant. I'm running my FPS capped at 60 and with the a/c powered on and all that stuff, I'm close to holding 60 at KEGE.  I'm sure in built up areas it will drop a bit, but apples to apples, it's good stuff.

Its a long long way from nailing anything. Just have a look at the post take off pitch attitudes then compare them to FCOM's 15 degrees. Its the tip of a massive iceberg of issues.

Well, I read your original post before you deleted it. I'm happy to hear your thoughts. I've never flown an Airbus IRL, and I totally understand your pet-peeves. I had the same feeling towards PMDG with the QOTS III, and got vilified for it lol. TBH, at this point, I don't really mind if it's not 100% accurate. It's fun to fly (for me) knowing very little about Airbus. Can still practice V1 cuts, various emergencies, and since I don't have access to a QRH for the A320 family, figuring out how to handle those non-normals is half the fun, especially since there's no one sitting next to you to rely on.

Which option is better in the fenix menu, CPU usage or GPU?? are the higher cockpit resolution textures a hit in fps? anyone tried already?

You have to try all them things out yourself to find whats best for you and your PC, no one else.

A „massive iceberg of issues“? So what would be left as a metaphor for the CRJ or the Aerosoft A320?

The higher cockpit resolution textures were default before, so there won‘t be no hit. It can only improve by disabling it, but only if you have low VRAM

trial and error, also subject to whether you are CPU or GPU limited. Try to avoid what is shown as limited already and put the fenix workload where you have some headroom, including the iGPU unless you have eg an Intel K processor

Yea i am putting together a more comprehensive post highlighting a long list of inaccuracies that will have more references in them so figured its better to do that than shoot from the hip. Im very disappointed in the Fenix. To add you do not need the Airbus Qrh except in a few rare circumstances such as duel hydraulic faults, emergency electrical config. 90% of Airbus failures are run from within ECAM and status without issue.

You seems your not allowing for that it’s only 2-3 weeks old and from a new developer and not one that’s had around close to 10 years of work in it.

Did you really expect it to be better than the FSL after the 10 years them boys have put in. This is 2 years and only release 2-3 weeks ago.

Disappointing is not a word I would use. I also have a few 1,000 hours in the FSL

enlighten me, remind 3 things the fenix has (or is more superior than)  that the  fslabs doesnt.  This way i can then give you 20 things the fslabs has that fenix does not.

Look ill give you its a alright addon, and at a decent price.  but if you put it up against the fslabs,  its again a Ford Focus up against a Ferrai type scenerio
