PMDG 737-700 UPDATE TO 3.0.20 NOW

I wish the Floor would match the box fresh flight deck. Have a look 😂 hundreds of hours on them. Less than 10 on the rest of the flight deck. No biggy just funny they missed it.

Display flickering still there for me.

Me too on captain side, i didn’t have it before the update 🥴

Is anyone else still getting the "runaway trim" sound effect? (the trim doesn't actually runaway, or even move, it's just that there's a 10 second-long trimming sound every now and again, while neither I nor the AP is moving the trim).

This was on the [FIXED] change log for this update but I am still seeing it - although perhaps not as frequently.

Had a bit of a hassle after the update. After having run the update and rebooted the system MSFS crashed to desktop after „checkin for updates“. This happened 5 times in a row. I then remembered that I still had a flightplan and a weather file in the PMDG 737 „work“ folder. Deleting these files seems to have done the trick. Thought I‘d post it here in case somebody runs into similar issues.

Since there's no way to contact them for support, I have to hope or wait until the latest version is available for download.

I was excited about the 777, but now I'll reconsider.

They have a dedicated support ticket system: Portal - PMDG Simulations (precisionmanuals.com)

I noticed this too on my flight today. The AP is trimming but only slightly and that seems to trigger a sound way too long for the actual duration of the trimming movement. Like you're resetting the trim after landing.

Yep, me too.  For me it's only ever been the captain side.  I swore they said they fixed this.

Yeah in general it's a bit disappointing IMO.

If that's while taking off, that would be STS, I believe.

Laminar Research customer -- Asobo/MS customer -- not an X-Aviation customer - or am I? 😉

It doesn't have anything to do with what system is working the trim, it's the sound which sometimes is audible for way too long compared to how much the trim is actually being moved. I've watched the trim wheel a few times when this happened and it only moved marginally, yet the trim sound would go on for several more seconds after the trim input had already stopped.

It was traced to a core graphics engine bug and it has been fixed already but have to wait for the next sim update for the fix to actually get released which is now scheduled for late August.
