I think you are talking about the "Head Anticipation" effect in the XP version.  There are separate effects for taxi and flight.  I believe the developer said there is currently an SDK limitation on the MSFS version but those would be added when possible.

Indeed Asobo didn't yet release the full SDK support therefore it wasn't implemented.

We keep on checking them and update as soon as it will be possible.

Has anyone been able to see an 'upgrade' notification for this product on SimMarket yet?  I understand there is a $5.99 fee for those who bought FSReastic Core.  I thought I read it's free, but an earlier email from suggest otherwise.

You can find the info in the FSRealistic PRO product page (https://secure.simmarket.com/rkapps-fsrealistic-pro-msfs.phtml ) :

UPDATE OFFER

If you previously purchased RKAPPS - FSREALISTIC CORE - MSFS at simMarket, you are entitled to the special upgrade price of EUR 5.60 only. NOTE: The special upgrade price will be awarded automatically, therefore you must be logged into your same account used to purchase the previous version! If in doubt contact simMarket support first! NO REFUNDS GIVEN!

So will this be the 'final' version going forward, so when the full camera SDK support is implemented by Asobo, it'll get updated or will there be another 3.0 update that we'd have to buy?

Target price is set to 34.99$ (same as XPRealistic). Current price is 29.99$.

Once Asobo will open the SDK we will implement the rest of the missing features and update the price to the target price.

At this stage, any user who already bought FSRealistic PRO, either by upgrading from Core or paying the 29.99$ will be entitled to free update.

My zoom gets stuck when fs realistic is open. Anyone have this problem?

If I turn the master switch off in fs realistic it works just fine.

This is a known bug and will be fixed in the next update which we will deliver shortly

I'm curious. What does this product do in VR? Is it the extra sounds only or does it also do something with the view?

It replicates the head movement within the sim giving you a more realistic feel of the G forces you would encounter IRL. Though be warned, it is a bit more difficult clicking the switches with the mouse due to the up, down, side to side motions you will encounter, hence my comment of mapping more buttons on my X52.

But this does add to the immersion big time.

It’s still mental to me that people pay for stuff like this. Imagine if the same existed for something like assetto corsa! Surely things like this should just be built into the sim/game in this day and age?

There are many things which "could" be done in sim but probably never will. It is not cost effective. They have a core team working on the sim, so now they either need to pull a few members to work on immersion or hire a few new people. End result, delay and increased costs which could easily be passed on to the user.

Far easier to allow third party developers who are specialists in the specific area handle the problem. Not to mention that it strengthens the overall flight sim community.

IMHO this business model is the right one for this sim.

Or maybe the ASOBO team or MS should have contacted the developer and hired him to integrate FSRealistic. 😀

Agree. Some things I find natural for the community to do, i.e aiports, planes and the likes as you can't expect the developers to create to such a fidelity sometimes.

However, immersive camera movement in a flight simulator seems so no-brainer, that you'd think it would be one of the core things they would focus on when trying to create the feel of flight in a simulated environment.

However, I'm just happy that we have a community that can step up where Asobo falls short.

I am seriously considering getting FS Realistic. I don't mind the cost, based on the effects and immersion it adds according to what I have been reading. I really enjoyed the camera effects of ChasePlane and the sound effects added by Accufeel in P3D, so if this addon has similar features, than I will be getting it soon. I am glad there are developers out there bringing more immersive addons to the MSFS world. 🙂

It actually does, with the same market/purchase strategy of a lite and pro version.🙃

Any other silly argument's you would like quickly debunked?😏

So I guess we should expect a PMDG, Fenix and Milviz type of aircraft as default at no extra charge in the future. Can't have it all for a 60-120$ software. This product adds a lot more immersion that default desktop sims do not offer.

Just in case you missed it there is a free trial so no point in purchasing until you try it.
