Fair enough, it is a sim, you can fly however you like to and that’s your business. 
 

for anyone else that comes across this thread, though, the issue is that the aircraft is not setup correctly. It will still fly, but won’t behave as you expect with the autopilot and so on. 
 

Setting it up correctly isn’t extremely difficult, some of the videos posted on this thread are a great guide.
