Tried that but didn't work.

Sorry I was just guessing but I'm sure there is a simple way to check items.  I'll check into it.

Did a few flights and impressions are mixed. I don’t really care for the cockpit night lighting. I have adjusted all the settings but i just can’t find a good setting. Also, the text just seems hard to read in the cockpit. And the views all seem off when cycling through control 1, 2, 3 etc. It isn’t a bad purchase at $25 but i really don’t see what all the hype is about. Maybe i am missing a few things?

Not had a problem reading the text. But with regard to the views, first thing I do for ANY aircraft is set up my own - so absolutely no issue there.... 😉

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, especially when spending your own money.

As a fellow developer I would just say that the HondaJet is very impressive, there's a lot of custom things they do with systems that took a lot of talent to get implemented.

- First aircraft to provide Navigraph functionality to Xbox users

- Custom VNAV coding

- Custom G3000 checklist

- So much of the HJet's real world automation represented (autolights, flaps, etc)

There's a lot more I'm missing, but it's one of my favorite aircraft to fly. Their VisionJet is great as well.

My name is Steve and I prefer hand flying.

I am not saying it is a bad plane, Steve. Just that it has many quirks that take away from the enjoyment. Why do I have to set the brakes to get external power? Why do I have to move the throttle with my mouse before my x52 pro throttle works? The text is so small that I cannot even read the messages on the MFD without getting super close to the display. Again, maybe I am missing something here but this plane may be a technical marvel in some respects, but it misses the mark widely in areas that actually have a big impact on the user experience.

Update: Okay looks like external power no longer connected to parking brake. That is good.

I wasn't disagreeing with you, I was genuinely saying you're entitled to it since it's your money, no snark or sarcasm intended 🙂

In terms of bugs and quirks they're pretty transparent about what they're working on - I really like the aircraft even in the current state, but I'm always happy to see a developer who is still dedicated to making the product even better through updates.

No snark or sarcasm taken! Thanks for the help and the links.

Again, not bagging on the plane. I like it. I have only had a few flights so maybe some of the issues I noted are not big deals. We'll see after a few more flights.

As above the Dev is very open to suggestions and he's continually working on making it better, there's a beta in the works currently which may actually improve areas you might be concerned with 🙂

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Personally, some of these aspects -- like using the mouse to put the throttle in the correct place to introduce fuel and then the throttle taking over, I like. What I wish for is such a silly thing, but it drives me crazy -- the co-pilot being seen in external view even when there is no co-pilot. And the fact that the pilot and co-pilot seem to be copies of each other and move in sync, like they are dancing. I know, a silly detail and takes nothing away from the technological achievements and depth of system modeling of the aircraft -- deeper than the vision jet -- but it sometimes keeps me from flying it.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Also if you zoom out a little in external view the pilots disappear.

Rob you are killing me! LOL You also have to set them to get fuel, deice, load cargo and board passengers!

Love the creations by this developer. Especially the internal engine sound, which seems to be a actual recording of internal engine(s) sound. The big irons devs all seem to have taken the external engine sound recordings and modfied it to a cockpit representation with mostly dissatisfying result, ie too loud and too high pitched whine etc. I must admit though that doing a engines recording in the cockpit of big jet, without the sound getting mixed with avionics cooling sound and such, must be really hard if not impossible.

The SOUND is so immersive. I swear I feel like I just flew this sucker when I am done. Plus throw in the P2A and chatter, and this is a REALLY GOOD combo.
