I could be mistaken. Would have to disable all net connection and compare areas with high resolution DEM. Ah yes that could well be it, hadn't thought of that! June 15, 20223 yr Yeah like I said earlier, The same thing happened in the first USA update when that big Devil's rock thing had the higher detailed object floating just above it. It was an issue related to first day server quirks that eventually fixed themselves without Asobo needing to do anything if I remember correctly. Now I want everyone to notice that no one was attacked or told to shut up for pointing this out. A possible explanation was given. That's it. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.

It has nothing to do with were the data is stored. It's all about which algorithm is used to blend in various LOD levels of a mesh together. The higher the resolution the later it loads in. If the difference between the next LOD is too high the terrain will morph.

What you might be feeling is the discomfort of having your opinions publicly rebuffed, perhaps by a majority. You may not experience this often in your daily life, particularly if you’re a, ahem, white man. Your criticisms have not been banned until they’ve been actioned by a mod. i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

To be fair, and you can surely agree, the vocal minority of critics who keep bringing up their pet issues over and over again, some who come on to all threads (especially the ones discussing new stuff and those celebrating/excited for new stuff completely irrelevant to their pet issues) and then keep trying hard to shout loud enough to be heard and some who go further with weird conspiracy theories... that *also* seems to have worsened in the last few weeks , which gets pushback understandably, which is then labelled as "criticism bans" by the vocal minority. Given the recent few weeks of great stuff happening like the arrival of high fidelity aircrafts, and the 40th anniv announcements, WU10 etc one might even deduce that's what has triggered those with their pet issues to shout more ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Not talking about you here, but it's very clear that some around here with pet issues in MSFS just can't take anything positive being discussed 🙂 ... why not start new threads to discuss the pet issues?, is it because they don't get much attention and the majority are discussing other stuff in the high action threads so that leads these folks to start come dumping on there? one wonders 🙂 Edited June 15, 20223 yr by lwt1971 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

Korea? etc etc etc... The world doesn't revolve around North America and western Europe. My god this place is sinking to new lows. I am signing off for a while.

Instead of addressing the issues being complained about it's easier to attack the character, isn't it?
