June 16, 20223 yr Has Honeycomb lost its mind? $350? Is that a typo? I could swear I saw it was going to be $270. At $350, it's within decently close spitting distance of the Fulcrum yoke, and if you have the money to burn $350 on a yoke, you probably can come up with the money to burn $150-ish more. Hopefully Honeycomb brings that price down a bit, or I think they might see some sales slowdowns. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
June 17, 20223 yr I preordered the new Honeycomb, then I saw this post. I never heard of the Fulcrum before and it honestly wasn't much more than the Alpha. I cancelled the Alpha and put an order for the Fulcrum. Just wanted to say thank you.

September 5, 20223 yr The new XPC yoke is significantly different from the prior Alpha yoke as it sports the vaunted Hall Effect Sensors and no hard detent. One of the primary selling points of Fulcrum has been its use of Hall Effect Sensors, so not surprising they upped the price really. This surely will seem odd to some but the Fulcrum to me almost looks out of place--like it belongs in a real aircraft. That may sound attractive to some but to me it's a mismatch for the rest of my setup which looks nothing like a real aircraft. It seems like overkill for a flight simulator, the heft of it, the size of it, especially one that is in a small desk space. The Fulcrum is also missing a trigger button which I have used for braking for 20 years now--don't use pedals and use a trim wheel for rudder. Not ready to decide quite yet but I'm FULLY aware of the pluses of the Fulcrum.
