OK since the just released US MSFS download all my 3rd part stuff was removed including the 414AW so decided to remove the old model and download a the latest offer. I loaded ok but on opening the C414AW 750 I found that the tablet is stuck on page 3 and was not able to change to page 1 or 2. I then started the plane ok but was unable to fire up the Garmin unit. OK no probs maybe I need to download the 750 software again which I did but again it wont fire up.

I then read this on the web notes " New HTML autopilot. This replaces the GTN750 and GTN750Xi autopilots. The PMS50 version uses the new WT logic. The TDS version uses the stock autopilot. The alerter now has 1 knob and is also default controlled from hardware. All button on the GFC600 are default controlled except the LVL button. This needs to be pressed from the mouse only."

Well I have no idea what it is trying to tell me, I seems like the GTN750 is no longer used and replaced with some HTML software, or does it?? you have not included any idea what I'm supposed to do if anything... I don't have a paid account to get the GTN750XI and I have given up trying to get the nav1 frequency of the GTN530 off the default 110.50 and 113.90. 

So can someone tell me how I can get the 414 in the air and following a GPS course???

As a footnote, my son purchased the new C310 and it comes with the Garmin fully functioning and you don't need to stuff around downloading software to get it to work (albeit a bit more expensive).

OK, as you have likely seen, there are three panel options which are selectable by choosing the corresponding livery, not by accessing the tablet.

GNS530, PMS GTN750, TDS GTN750Xi..

If you have the (free) PMS GTN750 installed, you should choose a PMS GTN livery.

Got the same issue with the Altitude selector, everything else works fine and the Alt selector knob highlights (and turns) but doesn't change the value from zero!

Assuming you are using the latest 2.8.1 ver of the C414AW, then it seems you are having a conflict of some kind since other users are not reporting this problem.

First thing I'd do is make sure you are using a default livery since many 3rd party liveries need to be updated for the latest C414 version. Also note the latest C414 is named C414AW. So files using "just" C414A will not work. Check that you don't have two entries in your Community folder for the C414 because of this.

And then there is the possibility of a Community folder or controller assignment conflict of some kind.

What ver of the C414AW are you using, and what panel (GNS530, PMS750, or TDS750)?

Technically it wasn't since I only just got and installed it. My fault though - since I had the PMS WTT mod installed, removed that and it is now working fine.

Just need to decide on PMS (full version) or TDS now.

Saw it, although I seem to go against the grain and prefer the PMS option. In that thread and others the TDS seems to have more supporters.
