But to answer your question, FSLTL will use any aircraft AIG has that it doesn’t.

After upgrading to a 13600K recently I did a fair amount of "testing" several AI traffic situations on big hubs and found that using the availaible free GA traffic mod is an enourmes FPS hog. It really surprised me, but e.g. on EBBR addon scenery, simply activating AI offline traffic with 50% setting reduced my FPS from around 40-45 down to roughly above 30. Although on EBBR, just two, three GA planes were visible anyway. NO idea, why it is such a tremendous FPS hog. If you do live traffic somewhere it’s the middle of the night you’d get very little traffic, or none. While offline flight plans are based off the sim’s time of day. So you can fly in Japan while it’s midnight there IRL and still get loads of traffic if the sim time is set to day. If you were to fly with live traffic you’d barely see anything. Substitute Japan with another country where it’s the middle of the night when you normally fly. If you don’t fly outside of countries where it’s currently day, then I guess live traffic is fine. The only way you're going to get constant arrivals is if you use the default live traffic or something like PSXSeeCon + RealTraffic. Edited November 9, 20223 yr by Tuskin38
