Today we will be flying north up the eastern side of the San Joaquin valley and finish at Lake Tahoe. The flight is over 300 miles so I will be in my 310 flying low.

San Joaquin valley is home to many of California's most productive agricultural efforts. The valley stretches approximately 450 miles (720 km) from northwest to southeast inland and parallel to the Pacific Ocean coast.

The screenshot looks good.  I flew Redding to Bakersfield about a month ago after a long absence from MS2020.  I actually found it disappointing. I wondered at the time, have I not got my setup correct.  I had all the updates at that time.  I found that good old Orbx P3D, FSX and my XP11 seemed more shall I say robust.  Anyway just commenting.

Didn't make it over the mountains into Tahoe perhaps that is more spectacular.

I think going north from Bakersfield is better. I also use scattered clouds as that brings out more details. If you get a chance fly over to RENO the scenery there lately has been incredible.

Attractive set of airports set alongside the foothills. Some delightful locations that provide interest without being "over the top". Well chosen.
