Hi folks,

here is a preliminary version that I would kindly ask you guys to test:

http://www.aviaworx.com/files/not_released/aviaserver_25-jun-22-004226.zip

Note - this hasn't been tested under P3D/FSX and MIGHT break things there - that's why this version hasn't been published yet.

Many thanks

Mark

Hello,

Thank you for releasing an update so quickly

The access to this page was denied for me. Anything else I can do on my side?

It works perfectly at now
Thank you

P.S.
A tip:
I see that when I exit the PMDG the FCU screen remains on the last selected page: wouldn't it be more realistic to have the FCU screen turned off?

What happened for me was how clicking the link only made the screen flash for a split second but without starting the download. I then tried to right-click the link instead and choose the 'Copy link address' option I think it's called followed by pasting that address into a separate tab/window in Chrome. This way, the download started normally.

Not sure if it might be a similar thing in your case but worth trying if you didn't already.

Thanks all for your feedback. After verifying functionality is broken on the FSX/P3D platform, I've pushed out a new official version (18.3).

Happy flying

Mark

Should I uninstall what is currently installed?
Do you just unzip the zip and run the exe after downloading?

This is an official update, and as such aviaServer will automatically update itself.

Restart aviaServer.

Remember, on the first run of aviaServer once an update has been published, aviaServer will download the new version in the background. This new version will be automatically installed on the subsequent run of aviaServer.

Ah, ok, now it has updated itself!

Took some time it seems until it has arrived here 😉

Same for me...yesterday I started and restarted a dozen times and it didn't update. Later in the evening I started it for a flight and the update installed.

I have the opposite issue.

I want to keep the older version of AviaServer (and prevent it from updating).  It took me weeks to get my home cockpit working with all my hardware.  I will be keeping the older version of the 737 for quite some time.

Is there a way to prevent the auto update of AviaServer from occuring?

Specs: Win10, 4790K, nVidia 1080ti, Saitek Yoke+Quadrant+Radio/Switch and AP panels, VRInsight 737 overhead, Virtual Avionics 737 MCP. 3 x 1440*900 main display + 1024*600 VDU display. NLR V3 Motion seat. Oculus DK2 CV1 HTC Vive VR headsets.

Hi there, I'm running 18.3, but still getting the issue reported: I have a good connection and inputs on the tablet are sent to the cockpit CDU, but the tablet CDU screen is blank.

I think it might be because I have had to roll back my PMDG 737 installation to .version.19 to allow SPAD.next to work.  Is there an older version of aviaServer that will function with .19?  I only bought aviaServer yesterday after being away from the sim for a few weeks, only to then discover all the issues with the latest PMDG release, so I don't have a back-up of an older version of aviaServer to go back to.  I'd love to get it to work fully!
