Ultimate Terrain X has given me the blurries............

Recommended Posts

After having applied all the tweaks listed at Simforums (the sticky), and some of Phil's latest (in particular Mipbias=6 and SmallPartRejectRadius=4) as well as using my card's (7800gs oc) onboard anti aliasing, filtering, I am very close to having a good, reliable setup. I still get the blurries, but it is not too bad. Still have trouble with the night lighting being demanding, but I think it is possible now for my aging rig to be able to handle this. :D

Since I started this thread I have been reading every reply with the hope of a solution.Guess what...............it was Avast antivirus. I uninstalled it and now all flights load in the normal time frame and I don't have a hint of the blurries (apart from the odd tile that lags behind the others).Very happy and looking forward to UT Europe.
