Help me pick an Aircraft to buy

Recommended Posts

Beechcraft Model 18 (Microsoft / Carenado)
Milviz 310r (Milviz)
Boeing 247d (Wing 42)
Junkers JU 52 (MS - Oliver Mosser)
P-38L Lightning (FlyingIron Sims)
BN-2A MKIII Trislander (Blackbox Simulation)

Or anything else similar (prefer dual turboprop probably, maybe a regular jet)

I guess I could also try the Concorde (DC Designs) or the CRJ by Aerosoft, but they are both kind of pricey.

Milviz 310 is probably the best GA aircraft at the moment

Regarding Airliners, I think the best one (in terms of quality as well as value for money) is Fenix A320

Great options for GA....

FSW C414, Milviz C310, SWS Kodiak

I also prefer the TDS GTN Xi in any plane that accepts the GTN

Otherwise I've heard the B247D is one of the most on depth addons.

FSW C414. In all my years of simming, I've never had an aircraft so addictive.  It's all I have flown since release.

The Trislander is fantastic   Unique aircraft, flies great, sounds great  and enough depth that you have to fly it properly or you'll be losing an engine or three 😉

310R is probably the best GA plane available at the moment, but the Trislander has "character" that make it more fun to fly for me.

Another vote for Milviz 310. If you want an airplane that remembers what you did and what you didn't, and feel the consequences of your actions, there is no alternative to it.

The Milviz C310 is the best and most fun, The Boeing 247 is also a great and rewarding aircraft.

  • Milviz 310 is pretty much the pick of your list for GA, has a few minor AP issues but they are working on that.
  • The 247D is incredible value for money, it is priced at a point where you may as well just pick it up anyway.

The other "twin" that is great value and not mentioned in your list is the Grumman Goose from Big Radials:
