What's your favorite plane at the moment?

Featured Replies

I'm really liking the AH Lockheed Electra L-10. But I have so many awesome planes now I try to rotate but this is my fave as of right now.

Flysimware's CESSNA 414AW CHANCELLOR .

Asobos Baron (good view, fast, twin - perfect for VFR excursions)

Win 11 PC | Ryzen 7800 X3D | RTX 5080 | LG 42 C2
Cockpit 😉 | TrackIR 5 | Octavia IFR-1 | Virpil Alpha on WarBRD, Virpil CM3 Throttle, Virpil Sharka Control Panel | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | TM TPM Rudder

I can' quite decide between 3, the D18, the 414, or the Kodiak.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

I rotate among about 7 favorites - most of them props & turboprops.  BUT, lately I've spending a lot of time with the WT Cessna CJ4 - what a fantastic machine!  It will get you where you need to go high and fast (yet moderate strips are no issue).

Do you need regular pilot's license to fly those things that fast?

The PMDG 737 is an obvious choice, and for fun bush bashing, the Milviz Porter.

The Trislander is the one I keep going back to.

I'm finding it hard to find fault with it.   Flys great, good ground handling, great sounds, good visuals, enough "study level" depth to keep you on your toes.  Lots of steam gauges!  It just has that immersion factor that makes me feel I'm flying a plane, not playing a game.

Cant wait for the Islander update.. the same systems depth (or more) than the Trislander and the cockpit overhaul is looking fantastic.

I will probably grab the Trislander, though I can say my issue with it will be the speed.
If I am going to buy something, I prefer faster planes most of the time.
