Is it safe to upgrade to Windows 11 with FS2020

Recommended Posts

As far as MSFS is concerned, I've yet to come across my first incompatibility with Windows 11.

Other than that, it's a mixed bag for me, but works ok.

My simming system: AMD Ryzen 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, LG 38" 3840x1600

Yeah, works just as Windows 10 in every regard, just has a few dumb UI decisions, that's it.

No problems here either. I added "Start 11" because I prefer the Win 10 menu system but that's just a personal choice. Functionally fine.

Wouldn't get back to Win 10 !

BUT!  Not an upgrade from Win10 - I clean install if possible.

Windows 11 is excellent !

I use Start 11 with Windows 11 too. Never had any issues with MSFS.

Simply yes.  Never faced any issues with W11.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
