I would do it if there was at least a 10% improvement in total performance for MSFS. That's all I use this PC for, this and one other title for which it already performs perfectly. The theory is one thing but that's about it until it's applied to this application. July 20, 20223 yr One other question if you will: is it possible to do a clean/fresh install of Windows 11, for free, if you have a legit Win 10 license? Not sure if the free "upgrade" to Win 11 goes overtop of a Win 10 install such that it's really not clean, or whether you can opt to format and install Win 11. Thanks Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. You have a period of time for evaluating it, and you can return to Win 10 too if you so wish ... I would never go back that way though - Win 11 is the best version of the MS OS I ever used ! July 20, 20223 yr Unless you know that your existing installation of Windows 10 has problems, there is little to be gained by choosing the "keep nothing" option unless you enjoy reinstalling third-party software ad nauseam, or you don't have any. Neither of these scenarios seems to apply in this case.
July 20, 20223 yr Okay well it sounds tolerable. I will keep an eye on the end date (Oct 5th is not necessarily the end date but could be according to MS).
