Virtual Cockpit View Angle Help?

Recommended Posts

Guest jshyluk

The TrackIR has a view center button, F12, if memory serves. I have it slaved to one of my mouse buttons, along with F9, the TrackIR disconnect. Normally, if I feel my view has drifted, I will sit naturally and face straight at the sensor, and press "Center". To achieve the effect you want, sit naturally, face the sensor, then face up a little and press "Center". Then, when you face normally, your view will be slightly down. You can use this trick to set your zoom level, seat height, anything. I find it really helps to have F12 on a mouse button so that I can edit my views on the fly (ha ha ha pun) as it were.
