performance is well documented and linked after the trailer 🙂

 

 

please read the description to understand the test setup and the comparison ... overall its roughly 10 FPS heavier then the default scenery. But that is to be expected, the default scenery has just one building and also the autogen is very loose.

The performance of the FlyTampa one is almost exactly the same like the freeware one. So this could give you some reference.

Does anybody have an issue with big squares appearing on the north side of the runway where there should be water? I am not on my computer right now so cannot post pictures, but its as if parts of the water have been replaced with land.

Do you have Bijans terrain masks installed? If yes, you have the reason...

I will check . Yesterday I landed at rw 34 and did not notice it. Using 4 seasons here …..

I use it too and do not have that issue as you can see on the screenshot.

Was your 4 seasons Up to date or did you have an older version installed than the latest  version ?

If it was 4 seasons I would have the issue too….

It is not the Bijan addon per se, it is specifically the terrain masks. If you do not use them (like me), you also have no issue...

Maybe it is even only with a specific subset of terrain masks...

I was using an opacity of 50% for the terrain mask.

I only use opacity of 30% in autumn and winter and 15% in spring.

I would like FlyTampa to notify their loyal customers when an update is released. Sending a quick email would be very much appreciated because using their FT "Universal" tool is a real PITA when you want to check all their airports.

Hi David, I only discovered by accident when it gave the version # when I installed the first time with the date 29/07. I agree, they should have a notification via e mail.
