Looks like I have Version 2.8.1 (downloaded and installed 5th August), and everything seems to work OK. I am not loading the GTN 750, happy with the 530. Reading all of the issues with later versions, think I will just continue with version 2.8.1. and wait to install a later version until things settle down. Am I missing out on anything important?

If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it 😉 I have skipped many an update along the way and rarely had any major issues.

I think the only thing you miss at the moment is the new weather radar in the GNS 530 version.

I’m on 3.2 and I think they also added new lights in 3.3.x. Also waiting to update. Recent flights have been spectacular so no need to muck it up.

When are they going to fix the wobbly manifold pressure above 10,000'?

I don't see that. Was just flying at 16000ft and the MP was very steady. I also have not seen any similar reports about the MP.

Maybe some others will report here on what they see in this regard.
