Upcoming P3D version ?

That would be a possible interpretation, but in the context of where that sentence appeared, it’s more likely to mean a new version of P3D in my opinion. Of course all we can do now is wait and hope.

Surely the next update from P3D will be a major release? it is coming up to (correct me if I am wrong) 8 months since the last update? This is the issue I have with LM, the lack of communication which further confirms their lack of interest with "us" as a customer. 

In the meantime developers are jumping ship or shifting priorities which only further serves to marginalize the platform.

A very likely explanation for this was discussed elsewhere in this forum, and it had less to do with lack of interest, and more with the licensing model. Not going to go any deeper on that subject.

In fact we all know, the most reliable sign of an upcoming new update for P3D will be, when simbol points us to a nessecary update for FSReborn. 😉

That can only happen once he’s absolved from the NDA. Any news would be published on the LM site first.

Well, Ray, i´am sure the NDA can´t prohibit updates on your own products, as long your not loosing a word about an upcoming "non-announced-oficially" updates of P3D. 😉😛

It can. NDAs expressly forbid any mention either directly or indirectly of any change in the software until that restriction is lifted by the developer.

If simbol were to even hint at an updated version of his software unless it was for the existing version of P3D LM would take a very dim view. Updates for the current version are fine of course.

Current best indicator for P3D update is when @simbol is taking a vacation, and that is when LM upgrades.  It used to be in sync with Pete Dowson's holiday schedule.

Pete is mostly retired these days with his son John running things.
