Good thread Bob. I use default ATC and I'm relatively happy with that. Haven't tried any other options in MSFS so far.

Why have you listed RC4? It cannot be used in MSFS.

Neither can Pro/ATC.

At least not until the new version is released.

Surprised how many use default ATC.

Mine is Pilot2ATC or NoATC depending on what I am doing. Although may start using P2A for VFR as well tbh..

I have used Pilot edge predominantly in the past and occasionally vatsim.  Hardly have time to sim nowadays so I don't really use any ATC especially because of how poor it is.

I'm either VATSIM or no ATC these days.  I used to be vatsim every flight.  But these days family obligations sometimes get in the way of being constantly connected to vatsim.  Not going to lie.  But the level of "sophistication" has dropped over the last few years.  Sometimes it's just downright frustrating to hear the usual. We all start somewhere.  I get that.  But I think 10 years ago, we all did a lot more homework than the current crop of new virtual pilots.

I used the default ATC with the default aircraft. With the FBW A20N don't use any sort of ATC.

Using default ATC with the FBW A320. Works fine about 90% of the time. When it doesn't, I just do what feels right. (I'm not a stickler for accuracy). Only constant issue is having to request higher altitudes once airborne.

As I also use AIG with all airlines installed, I also use a modified language file to get rid of some of the ATC calls (either direction) that are somewhat annoyingly frequent (requests for pushback, expedite climb/descent, etc). Of course, that comes with the caveat that after most updates I have to go and modify the new language file again.

PF3 or default predominantly.  A lot of times I just let AI assistance handle ATC and do my thing 🙂

When not on VATSIM, live airport cameras with ATC on Youtube or LiveATC are more immersive options to me when compared to computer-generated voices.
