Toggling MSFS2020 CJ4 passenger lights?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to toggle the CJ4 passenger lights (Belt and Safety button) using AAO and can't get it to work. The following works fine in Mobiflight:

(L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON) ! (>L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON)

However it doesn't work in AAO. I've tried all sorts of things, including:

(L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON, Number) ! (>L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON, Number)
(L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON, Bool) ! (>L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON, Bool)

And with SIMPROC: in front as well. None of it ever causes the plane to react.

What am I missing? I know it's the right simvar because I can control it via MobiFlight. Thanks!

(L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON,·Bool)·!·(>L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON,·Bool)
(L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON,·Number)·!·(>L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON,·Number)

Both are working fine for me.

Is any LVar working for you at all with AAO? Is the "lorbysi-content-hooks" package present in your Community folder?

Also, bear in mind that using things like AAO, FSUIPC, Mobiflight etc. at the same time may have unwanted effects. Maybe there is another "thing" in your setup that doesn't want anything else to change this LVar?
