Chile, Iquique to Calama

Recommended Posts

Diego Aracena, Iquique’s intern. airport, lies well south of the city, so in order to have a look at Iquique I flew north first and then flew south again to reach my destination Calama

Interesting terrain below the plane. I have never seen anything like it

I also had no clue what this was to the plane’s left, until I googled it: it was one of three solar parks in the middle of nowhere

Thanks for giving me a look at Iquique in MSFS, Bernd. Really appreciate it. Despite the desert barreness, there's a lot more details to see than what I'm used to with FSX.

Fascinating part of the world there, Bernd, and some great shots of it. Is that with the Orbx mesh?

I think I find them by accident. But sometimes I see a nice picture on the internet and decide to check this place out in MSFS 🙂

Yes Andy, that is with the ORBX mesh. It's well worth the money, me thinks. I hope they do Africa next.
