Looking through skulls

Recommended Posts

It seems to me I've solved this problem before but can't remember how.  In the Caravan if I start on the runway with the engine running, I am looking through the pilots skull, if I switch to the copliot, same thing.  I don't want either of them in the cockpit, much less looking through their heads.

You could try swapping between drone and regular views by pressing Insert.

I think default planes don't have 3D pilots inside the cockpit, only copilots. That's probably caused by the Caravan Improvement mod if you have it installed. Try updating it or disabling it if there is no update.

Thanks, I think your correct, I will try it later.  I do have that mod, I'll see if there is an update.

Not an ideal answer, but I normally move the view position forward just a touch and then save it.  I find I can see the instruments better then anyway, especially the G1000.

  • “Decrease cockpit view height” (down)
  • “Increase cockpit view height” (up)
  • “Translate cockpit view forward” (Right alt + up)
  • “Translate cockpit view backward” (Right alt + down)
  • “Translate cockpit view left” (Right alt + left)
  • “Translate cockpit view right” (Right alt + right)

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
