GSX PRO is out

I get there are exceptions but let's face it, a vast majority of pushbacks are nose right, signal on left and vice versa.  Why not program it for that and let the edge cases be screwy.

Oh I agree, I'm just pointing out that it is possible some beta testers might have not noticed any wierdness if they happened to test and only do pushbacks where the one animation sequence there ishappened to be correct for the push they did.

It is apparent that there have been some abbreviations and such with some of the animations in GSX, for example the baggage loading animation which is quite clearly the unloading animation in reverse, and it would seem the disconnect animation sequence with the headsetter might be a similar scenario in terms of only having one basic animation for all pushback events. Whether this is laziness or simply expediency owing to some limitation in the sim, I don't know, but what is clear is that GSX for MSFS needs a bit of sorting out one way or another to really deserve that 'pro' handle.

Just bought it, although I had no issues with the installation, it messed up the jetways in Aerosoft EDDK and many times, jetways don't work. Or sometimes at some airports, jetways don't show up in where I am parking.

I wish you could skip the Pilot and Crew boarding. Like I'm in the cockpit already.

In real life, the flight crew goes to the flight deck and starts the preflight prep, etc.. They have nothing to do with the boarding of the aircraft, or fueling etc..

Download this profile. I don't know if this will solve the problem but you can try.

Nope it doesn't solve the issue, it was the first thing I tried

I think u'll have to wait for an update from aerosoft and FSDT.

You need to go to "FSDT Installer" app, then "config" on the line with GSX. Then move ALL your 3rd party airports from the left to the right side. What happened here is that GSX added its own jetways, but those are based on the data of the DEFAULT airport, not the one from Aerosoft. Therefore you need to exclude your custom 3rd party airports from this jetway replacement.

EDIT: This is working as designed by the way. GSX only tries to provide jetways for default sceneries, because 3rd party airports have thei rown custom jetways. The rest of GSX will work just fine, and even better with the profile you were just pointed to.

Thanks for the info. Will try. However, I thought GSX should work with third party airports just fine except those that being bought from Marketplace?

The ground services yes, but not the jetways. The jetway replacements are done via BGL scenery based off the base scenery.

😑. So now my I need to exclude all my third party airports? That is very annoying and time consuming.

But I am puzzled, I just tried it with other third party airports, it just works fine 🤔

It does. It works fine. It's not supposed to replace custom jetways of third party airports, that's why you have to exclude them. GSX still controls the jetways and all that stuff, it's only not replacing or adding jetways to third party sceneries.

You are probably thinking of P3D where GSX could replace jetways of 3rd party airports, but this was only done with manual changing / deleting of files and SODE. This will be possible again when SODE arrives for MSFS, but until then you don't need the GSX jetways for custom airports who already have their own jetways.

As I wrote above: Excluding means one click. Or just exclude all of them if you have many and never use defaults airports anyway. It's really not time consuming at all via the "config" menu in FSDT Installer.

Which 3rd party airport was that? No double jetways or misplaced jetways?

There's a button in the installer that will do it automatically. It may miss some though.

He already put a disclaimer on the top that he was wrong and it was not GSX that caused CTDs ... so there's that.
