August 28, 20223 yr Yes, it is very easy and I must say... fun and addictive too! August 28, 20223 yr When I use pmdg 800 at gate I request jetway I open the door, ask for refuel then boarding i can see gsx work on the fms but finally I have door entry close rear door open with no stair and overwing left open🤔 Edited August 28, 20223 yr by grandfred29 Frédéric Giraud

Using Spad.next I have assigned it to: Normal press: increase sim rate Long press: decrease sim rate. (You can do that directly from MSFS settings using 2 buttons or keys if you don't use Spad.next or equivalent.) Et voila! It works perfectly with GSX, no matter which airplane you fly.😉 I use it to speeds up all the long GSX ground operations or to speed up taxis to gates when I don't have time. - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.

You need to understand that GSX can only use data it reads, and while the airport devs might have modelled a door or a road to walk at, they did not set any data that marks those things as "door" or "walking path" (mostly because you cannot set this data in MSFS). So for MSFS and GSX the modelled door and the modelled walking paths "look" exactly like any other modelled element like the tower or the toilet. And that's why you need a config file 🙂 When you have done it once, it's actually very easy and take 30 seconds to establish a walking path for a gate, but most probably there will be a config on flightsim.to for every airport sooner or later. Yeah, i don't have much choice 🙂

It's fun I have just finished EBBR Aerosoft (and pretty close to real life) and posted over at the FSDT forum... I'm just trying to avoid to many waypoints, but I'm not even close to 4 needed... But I can imagine with stairs it's a different story. The only missing thing is more then one jetway at a gate with 3d party airports and using the native jetways, and regarding the pushback the pull function... Have done a lot of test pushbacks but not a single crash... Will add EHAM FT before release to if the time is there 😎 Edited August 28, 20223 yr by awf André

I mean I can get it from the FSDT forum of course, but it's much easier/convenient on flightsim.to mostly because of being notified of updates. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

August 28, 20223 yr Question, these GSX profiles here https://flightsim.to/c/third-party/gsx-pro/, when I download them, do I need to change the AFCAD path in the ini file? AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

August 29, 20223 yr You guys that sticked with GSX after the difficult start, can you tell me if there has been any update since ? Thank you, I'm hesitating to install it on a brand new config which I intend to keep impecable.
