Thanks for the news. In my case, all new airports after Feb. 2022 are "On Hold". I don't know what that means.

Alexey says he's not releasing new airports until he can start getting new members again. Sanctions are blocking him from receiving new memberships money.

That's right, I saw that on the forums I read thereafter.

So he's sanctioning existing members because of the sanctions?

Here is Alex's message.

Hello, pilots!

Good news, everyone. The site has moved to a new domain. Now we are in the .COM domain zone.
Finally you can download the latest airport versions again.
So far, however, not all sanctions have been overcomed.
We are trapped in a closed space and we are not able to get new members, who financially support the site.
New members allow us to keep low subscription cost and create new airports. I believe you have been able to evaluate this strategy.
Banks are putting serious obstacles for money transfers between individuals of different countries.
I keep searching for ways to attract new members. Until then, all new airports are on hold.
But the good news is that I have already released many updates and now you can download all the latest versions.
Unfortunately, five members have been blocked for calling for piracy and toxic behavior on the forum.
The forum has been cleaned up and continues to work on the new domain.
Thank you all for your patience and support at such a difficult time!

Welcome: https://beautifulmodelworld.com/

Best regards, Alexey.

Excellent, I hope this shuts up the armchair expert haters once and for all!

Once his subs are working again I'll jump on board, his work looks to be very high quality and at a very decent price.

Sorry I'm not familiar with this, what exactly is it? Is it an equivalent to the XPlane Gateway or something? Remodeled airports?

Take a look at his web site mentioned by the OP. Once he can start receiving subscriptions again there are over twenty airports he has built from scratch (I believe) with close to professional quality for a one off fee of circa 30 euros for the whole set unless it has changed. For the price it is a no brainer in my opinion.

A map of all the airports,  hand crafted, that you get for one price.  All new airports after purchase are free , so you only pay one fee. It's  the bargain of the century in my opinion.

The war sanctions have closed down commerce into parts of eastern Europe.
