your BEST bet to get a request painted is to go to the flightsim.to request page and request it here:

https://flightsim.to/requests/liveries

Even though there is not a 737-800 category for released paints yet (naturally), you can request them as they did create a 737-800 category in the request form.

Painters get "karma" points for picking up and finishing a paint if you request it there...so they have incentive.

I signed up for Virtual Ryanair a couple of weeks ago but they do not allow the 600 or 700!

I see your point about the EFB, but there are people like me and patiently waited for their favorite variant to be released, the 800, so I'll take the plane this week because i've been fighting the urge to buy the 700 for too long lol

RYR operate EI-SEV a 737-700 for training flights mainly. Virtual Ryanair should allow for the 700 for new members so they can get type rated on the 73 and then advance onto the 800. Just my opinion though.

Looks like the -800 has landed and taxied in according to PMDG's new cover photo on Facebook. Hopefully release is sooner than we think!

That makes sense too, especially seeing the catering truck in that pic. I just figured landed and taxied in because Randazzo said in his video the other day that the -800 was at top of descent 😁

Robert also said the following in his last post, "We will let you know once we have set the release date". 

So I guess where waiting on a release date.

Nothing that isn’t also being added to the -700, but of course they’re modeling all of the differences between the two types
