Recommended Posts

My results so far with ReShade. Here's a link to the MSFS forum thread where this is discussed in-depth.

Looks very nice.  I might have to try this Reshade thing.  My colors really look too bright and washed out.  The cockpit on my FENIX A320 doesn't look like the ones I see on Youtube, they are nice and sharp...I need to do more research and reading I guess to mess with it.

Really nice - the contrast is great and I love the colours and shadows. The sky looks marvellous - I really like some of the clouds are blown out because that is how the clouds should look near the sun. The cloud bottoms look dramatic and suitably dark.

What shaders/settings did you use?

Very similar to yours. But I increased the sharpen strength and clamp a bit. And I decreased the exposure in the highlights considerably to bring out some more details. I agree with you though that some blown highlights is realistic near the sun.

[LUTTools.fx]
LutChromaLuma=0.585000,0.585000
LutRes=32

[LumaSharpen.fx]
sharp_clamp=0.070000
sharp_strength=1.300000

[PD80_03_Shadows_Midtones_Highlights.fx]
contrast_h=0.500000
contrast_m=0.200000
contrast_s=0.500000
exposure_h=-2.000006
exposure_m=0.000000
exposure_s=-0.500000
vibrance_h=0.000000
vibrance_m=0.160000
vibrance_s=0.000000

[CinematicDOF.fx]
AutoFocusPoint=0.500000,0.500000
FNumber=5.599998
FocalLength=40.000000
UseAutoFocus=1
UseMouseDrivenAutoFocus=0
