August 30, 20223 yr Another plus with The Skypark is that it is very flexible to your needs. It lets you fly which ever aircraft category and type you like. There are modes with more or fewer restrictions available, and you can even switch between them. You can make of it what you like. Edited August 30, 20223 yr by Avwriter Andrew Jones
August 30, 20223 yr I was using Skypark for more than a year and liked it but then one day it stopped working (some transponder error) and I barley got any support without a working solution. I was really disappointed that a year of my investment in the addon went down the drain and that the developer didn't take enough time to help me. Since there's no guarantee that would not happen again I'm now looking at other options. Air Hauler 2 is also a very good addon I was using before and I'll probably go back using again. Does Air Hauler 2 let you choose any aircraft to buy or rent? Regards Lamar Wright

Then you can buy or lease whatever aircraft you wish. You can add your own from the sim if it doesn't have it there by default. You can fly anything from kitfox to 747. At startup you can start with basically no money or go the easy route with lots. The choice is yours.
September 1, 20223 yr Author Thanks for that info ParaMan. From what I can tell Air Hauler 2 is more realistic compared to the other sim flying money makers. It's good to know after your earn money that you can purchase aircraft. I can't seem to remember.....how to you incorporate AH2 into the sim? Regards Lamar Wright

And yeah you can buy/lease more planes and hire pilots to fly cargo or passengers for you as well.

Thanks ParaMan, I've decided to buy AH2 .........I have AH that I bought several years ago and it was great so I know AH2 will be just as good. Happy flying and make a lot of $$$$! September 2, 20223 yr I am starting to suspect that you cannot really make money with these apps and MSFS. After over a year with NeoFly and a supposed $16M profit I still have to work my regular job to make ends meet. "That's what" - She

However, before I hop into the plane, I am not told how much payload I will have, it seems. My normal procedure is to do that after planning the flight with Simbrief and then load the Simbrief flight plan in MSFS. I can't do that if I don't know the weight. Peter
September 30, 20223 yr Skypark doesn't give you any weight it just tells you what the cargo is. Load whatever weight you want. Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery

The system is great but the interface (even the new early-release one) is just clunky. For me, anyway. OnAir is great, but the fact that it mostly requires you to return to your home airport after each leg is a bit meh. Compared to Neofly, which has more freedom in this aspect. Air Hauler 2 - I've bought it when it came out but haven't gotten around to using it yet. Will do and see how that goes. OnAir doesn't "require" you to go back to your home airport after they added the "specific FBO queries" update which has been months since that's been in. I generally do make all my jobs depart and come back as turns but there a times when I just setup a work order to have my AI Pilots and crew fly the leg back on a different aircraft so I can continue somewhere else. i used to bash OnAir back when it launched but it's not the cashgrab I expected it to be. There are QOL updates added all the time and it's clear they take feedback from the community. About The subscription part...look it's not something I can say I love but let's not act like we don't spend 15 dollars /month on Amazon or Netflix, Xbox live etc etc...I use OnAir all the time and it's more than enough paid for itself. A 2 year subscription is only 2 dollars a month. i used to use AirHauler2 but the thing I hated about it is i couldn't create a massive company without the program turning into a slow turtle to Load anything. I also hated how I couldn't do anything while I was currently flying. OnAir doesn't have these issues. there is a couple of updates I'd be looking forward to with OnAir such as letting AI crew fly regular routes and typing the exact UTC time I want to depart instead of messing around with that horrid "UTC Offset slider" but overall everything else is exactly what I had with AirHauler but a better product and better looking UI too. The stratus world in OnAir is probably the identical comparison to AirHauler2 and I really recommend it. sidenote it's funny how the sky park is adding passengers soon. It's very clear they misjudged what the market wants overall because I interpreted it would never have anything like that. There is a reason FSEconomy has been around so long because there is a big demand for a "sense of ownership" of aircraft in the sim. Edited September 30, 20223 yr by environmental_ice

I was disappointed when it was first launched, but in its current state, OnAir has probably the best flight tracking and economic simulation around. I only do not use it because the community is fairly small and I don't care too much about the "running an airline" part. Most importantly, I found it too real for me. I tried to simulate part 135 operations and had a hard time establishing my preferred routes. Plus, I was severely limited as to what and where I fly, very much like real 135 pilots. 🙂 I guess it isn't what I am looking for, but I would recommend it for anyone who likes to run an airline or uses it in a less restricted way than I did. 2) FSE is currently my go-to. I didn't care too much about owning the airplanes, but the FBO real estate part appealed to me 🙂 As for Skypark, I am extremely surprised that it doesn't even tell you the weight of your cargo. That would be the bare minimum what I would expect of a job-generating simulation. I guess that's another program I won't use much.
