Traffic in Istanbul LTFM

First of all thank you for this amazing tool!

 

 

I am using FS2020 and I have the LTFM Freeware Airport which is quite great !

 

However PSX is not loading any traffic on ground at all. The planes disapear or appear on approach/takeoff. I manually added LTFM to airports_msfs.txt : <airport code="LTFM" iata="IST" lat="41.2696" lon="28.7299" alt="325" />

 

however it says LTFM(IST), no airport file found.

 

How can I get this to work?

Did you lret PSXT_MSFS generate an airport file for that freeware airport? In the thirdparty_airports follders you should have a file LTFM.xml

(If automatic scan did not find that airport, yoi should use afolderx parameters to your add-on airports.)

In the folder Thirdparty_Airports I can find a file called LTFM with plenty of ParkPositions. Yet I still get the error and no planes showing up..

This is the problem:

It cannot find a LTFM.xml file, not in parked_updates, not in thirdparty_airports, not in addon_airports and not in stock_airports...

And, because there is no airport file, all ground traffic is suppressed by PSXT, because it does not know the gates..

How come it does not see the airport file? In a previous post you said there was one...

BTW: you should check AIG in the UI (does not solve your problem, but that will lead to better live aircraft matches).

You mean I should tick the box AIG in the psxt ? 

How do I get it to work? Is there  any manual or tool I am really surprised its the only airport not working at all.

A new third-party airport file for which there was no stock airport file was not found. Now fixed, I've re-uploaded the corrected 31.17.3

For you it does not matter, you will have an updated LTFM.xml in parted_updates already I guess.

I am just surprised that for such a big airport - no one ever "complained" - however I appreciate your help!

The problem arised when I introduced the difference between addon airports from Asobo and third party airports a few weeks ago. Before that it was okay.

No, that is not the same issue. MPTO is not in data\airports_msfs.xml and there is no \stock_airports\MPTO.xml

MPTO is not known..

Are you using a third party addon for MPTO?
