! MSFS: Renaming parked_updates problems (error 248) !

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

For existing users of PSXT_MSFS, that updated to 31.17.6 before Sep 9  11:15 UTC:

Unfortunately I made a mistake in the installer for MSFS. It placed an updated_airports folder with 33 learned stock airports in PSXT_MSFS as if you were a new PSXT user...

Due to that, the renaming of your parked_updates folder went wrong, resulting in error 248 and an exit of PSXT_MSFS.

You now probably have both your old parked_updates folder and an updated_airports folder.

If so, what to do?:

1. Delete the updated_airports folder, with its contents.

2. Rename parked_updates to updated_airports.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Nico

BTW: The installer  has been fixed.

Nico,

You need to work as a consultant teaching other developers how to handle product support!

Thanks for such a great product...and even better customer service.
