Wilcopub web site down

Does anyone know why Wilcopub web site would be down for the last couple days. There is a message that states:Sorry, this website needs to be updated and is currently not available. Please try it again later, we'll be back as soon as possible. That message is been up for a couple days. Most companies do server repair and are back in a couple hours. Anyone know anything more please let me know.

Noone knows. I have asked in the FeelThere forums as well, but support is just "mute".I really don't get it why Wilco provides such a poor support. A little bit more work with system administration, website availability, response time, download speed, quality assurance and customer service and they would be one of the major players in the add-on business.But... they just really don't seem to care, which is a shame. Yea, and FeelThere will throw their hands into the air again and point to Wilco. It's a constant ping-pong with both companies to find out where the support is. But that's not the point. The point is that customers are stranded without any option to download liveries and service packs.Additionally, Wilco does all the support in-house for the Citation X. Why is that?I always keep on defending Wilco, because I really like their products, but their support just stinks - from quality assurance to end-user support, download options, server uptimes, etc.It really makes my heart bleed, because they could truly be an excellent publisher, but seem to be content of being just mediocre. *sigh*Pat

Yea, I read the official explanation from Wilco and it is pretty much crap, because the entire purpose of RAID1 is that the files/website are still available when one disk fails. Plus a RAID1 can be re-created on the fly without ANY down time by just exchanging the HDD. I don't buy that excuse for a second. After all the end user does not care at all about the technical, behind-the-scenes stuff and all the "boo-hoo" it takes just so much time to fix this. A website that is down for 4 days is just plain bad and evidence of poor administration and maintenance.AvSim or Flight1 has probably ten to a hundred times the traffic and volume of Wilco and they have been never down for an extended period of time. Pure BS from a sysadmin's point of view.Pat

FeelThere just posted a "FeelThere/Wilco Joint Statement" on the FeelThere forums. At first, from the title, I thought they might have decided to tell us something about what they've been smoking over there, but alas, no, at least not directly.FeelThere has chosen to go the same "black hole" route of support they are using for the CitationX. In other words, fill out a form on the Wilco site, get an automated response, and then they forget about half of what you tell them with no further comment--and with the rest of the users and potential users unaware. It's the roach motel of support...the complaints go in and never come back out. Like having a terabyte of write-only memory...you get the picture.In April I posted to the FeelThere forums a fix to the serious localizer/glideslope instability problems with their Scarebus add-on and had an e-mail exchange with Victor, only to see the user base wait two more months for a service pack that does not include a fix to the problem. Their airbus still drifts back and forth across the localizer like a drunk sailor trying to walk a line for the county sheriff.
