Problem w/PMDG738 after SU10 Update

Recommended Posts

Have looked around to see if others have the same issue but haven't found any topics.

I loaded to PMDG 738 after updating to SU10.  The aircraft will load but once I get into the flight deck, I'm unable to see and of the gauges (PFD, MFD, etc.) nor can I manipulate any of the switches, knobs, etc.

BTW: PMDG 737 loads and runs fine.

Thanks for any assistance.

Forgot to mention:

I did uninstall all PMDG 738 related items using the PMDG install app and reloaded after a computer reboot.

My first flight in SU10 today was in the PMDG 738 and I had no problems except when I went to taxi--couldn't steer, couldn't brake, couldn't set flaps.  I thought perhaps controller settings were changed, but the weren't.  It was the need to do "ground maintenance" on the hydralics, then all was well.

Did you do the nV driver update yet?  I did, to new Studio version, and as I say, all's well.

thanks.

Have not updated NVIDIA driver yet, waiting for the Game Ready driver.

I remember when I first loaded the PMDG738, I had MSFS in DX12.  I then read doing so might not have been a good idea.

I have been flying the PMDG 737-800 in SU10 Beta for the past several weeks and haven't experienced any issue what so ever with the plane.

Sometimes you might, but the PMDG 738 is fine in SU10 with no update.

Typically a license issue. PMDG dot Com is where you can get it resolved.  You will need to open a support ticket, but before doing that you could puruse the PMDG forum for similar.

Haha, you tell 'em Beerz!    It's not Asobo's fault if all your add-ons no longer work after an update because it's the responsibility of the customer to anticipate when Asobo will break something, which in most cases is always.

Hey Hobo, you should learn a new tune or two. Your current one note song is quite flat.

Careful I don't steal your bird hat when you're not looking.    Then all the girls will flock to ME instead.   No pun intended.

Asobo haven't broken the 737.  It worked fine all thought the beta and now with the SU10 update.  So there must be a specific reason for the Op, and maybe a clash with another add-on.

The only thing I have seen that needed a little update was the PSM GTN750, and that is available now.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
