This extraordinary comic version of the historic 1910 London-to-Paris air race features the greatest aviators from around the world. They all come together when a stuffy, but very rich, newspaper publisher decides to sponsor an airplane race across the English Channel. Convinced it will give his newspaper worldwide publicity, the publisher offers 10,000 pounds to the winner. The escapades between the American, British, French, German, Italian and Japanese teams result in the most daring and hilarious in-flight acrobatic stunts ever caught on film. But the film's greatest triumph is the amazing re-creation of the vintage airplanes which did the actual flying.

Thank you very much for this!!
I went to see this film 8 times when i was young (no kidding!). Very nice, funny film and with a real nice atmosphere.
Never thought i would watch it for 9 times, i will now!

Oh, i see it's not available in the Netherlands, pitty, but good reason to start trying a VPN.

Yup, I avoided one for years, but there are free ones that work fine and far too many nosey companies trying to get your information, so why not be cautious?

I use Edge web browser. Video Downloader is the only Edge extension that actually makes it easy on my computer to download Youtube videos. Save the movie to a USB thumbdrive and plug it into a TV or into a game console (Xbox or Playstation). Watch it forever more on the big TV, you own it.

On Xbox you have to install the free 'Video Player" app from the Xbox store to play videos from a USB thumbdrive on an Xbox game console.

Xbox and a lot of TV's require a video on a USB stick to be H.264 .mp4. And most youtube videos are that. But if the .mp4 video you downloaded does not play, it's because it's .mp4 but not H.264 .mp4. So just convert it with the popular freeware computer app called Handbrake to H.264. Takes maybe 4 minutes.

For a couple of days we watched "Horatio Hornblower (all 8 episodes) which are on Youtube. USB stick download to our TV. Tonight it will be the Magnificent Men !

(It also skips all the commercials when you download a movie before watching)!
