X-Plane 12: snow storm

Recommended Posts

Absolutely great fun, I did a fight in a snow storm in 20nt winds, the effects were fantastic.

That is pretty cool. I'm so used to not flying in anything but clear skies and summer in XP11 that I need to try this out more

Mind you: all that was done by a small team of "3 people in a shed", whereas 200 (or so) other devs were resting on their laurels - SCNR 😁.

A fight or a flight? I assume ... both 😉

winter is coming for lesser simulators.

I'll die on the hill that Pilotwings 64 is still the best simulator, but this is still pretty nice work by LR.

It comes to all simulators that feature seasons, including driving sims, farm sims, city sims and flight sims.

Not a GoT fan I see.

For me, xp12 invites flying in more varied conditions...

The first principle lighting and environmental effects are very well integrated and achieves good fidelity.  The future is bright once the sim is more polished.
