Cockspur C510 Mustang OUT NOW!

Recommended Posts

Just figured out the binding for the Throttle Cutoff Switch using Axis and Ohs:

Bind these two to same switch position (Up=ON)

Key Down Event: SET_FUEL_VALVE_ENG1 to 1, and switch_fuel_left to 1

Key Up Event: SET_FUEL_VALVE_ENG1 to 0, and switch_fuel_left to 0

Regards,

Herbert

I'm interested but not yet convinced. I looked at a few tubbers' videos.

I noticed the following:

1) No wwise sounds, rather use of "legacy sound environment", hence sounds don't change when you open/close doors
2) Uneven texture work
3) Many switches inop, inop switches don't move
4) Flight model issues

Tried again after patch. Significant G1000nxi performance degradation after 1 hour of flight. Giving up again!

Made my first IFR flight in the Mustang From Sam Diego International to Palm Springs. The flight plan:

KSAN 09.BRDR7.JLI TRM RNAV (RNP) Z RWY 13R KPSP

This particular approach is quite interesting, given its curved nature. The flight went well, and the G1000Nxi worked flawlessly, as there is no detectable degradation in my first experience. I did notice that the climb rate seemed excessive, maybe more than I remember when flying the F1 Mustang many years ago. I will check it out tomorrow.

Thank you!

Hopefully it will work for the HJet also!

Calling @Gregg_Seipp - Mustang fan hehe

Is this up to your standards?

Sigh.  Apparently not yet.  Maybe it'll come along but it seems to be missing a lot at this point.  Right now I'm flying the CJ4 waiting for the Citation refreshes.

For the HJET I used the LVARs
HA420_THROTTLEPOS_L and HA420_THROTTLEPOS_R

Set them to the value 0 to move the throttle to Engine Off and 50 to move to Idle.

I don't understand why developers release half-baked products. It just generates bad press.

I‘m afraid they add power with the update to gain more speed at high altitudes, which was complaint, now it only needs small throttle movements and it goes off as a rocket, but I like it anyway much, I‘m confident, it‘ll improve.

I don't know, this one isn't perfect but I'm falling in love with it over the HJet actually.

I rest my case with my original comments saying that this one was pushed through the exit door too early. If there is one aspect that really pulls an aircraft down for me is V speeds way off the mark.

IMHO, fixing the sound should be at the top of the list of things to improve.

Bet if you asked 10 different people who had purchased it, you would get 10 completely different sets of priorities.

He seems to have quite a list, but is adamant he will work through it. Best of luck to him.
