October 11, 20223 yr I am experimenting with the "Info acts as tower" setting. It would be fun to populate the virtual world with more towered airports. What kinds of frequencies does this setting make behave as a tower? Is it strictly only frequencies categorized as "Info"? I was hoping Unicom and CTAF would also apply, but I wasn't able to interact with a Unicom frequency as a tower.
October 11, 20223 yr Commercial Member Info is a specific type of frequency that is "manned" in some regions of the planet. Therefore, if you are flying in one of those regions (many parts of Europe) then you would use this option. It does not affect frequencies not designated as Info type, like UNICOM and CTAF. Dave
