Is there a download that will change xlm files to bgl type? Like BGL2XLM changes bgl to xlm?

That's what BGLComp.exe in theenvironment kit of the SDK is for.Along the same lines, an updated bglcomp.xsd was created for FS9 to fix some bugs in the released version. Are there any known issues with the FSX version, and, if so, is there a download for that? Thanks!Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

BGLComp works perfectly when used according the SDK.There are a few FSX hundred files in the library already done with BGLComp. However, it is a command line program - not a GUI program. You have to be familiar with using the command line. You have to understand how to trap error messages and output them to either the screen or a text file so you can fix the errors in the XML file.I'm not aware on any updates to the .XSD for FSX. It seems to be working pretty well. SP1 installed an updated .XSD dated Jan 25, 2007.There are some issues with documentation in the SDK. Many were cleaned up in SP1, but more are found as time goes by.There are also several items which are in the SDK documentation and XSD - which have no impact upon aircraft behavior.

It's not "crap" . Learn how to use it properly and it will do exactly what it was designed to do.Rod.
