Der8Bauer (Youtube) showed a custom direct DIE and achieved super low temperatures to reach those Clockspeeds with Custom Watercooling, if Temp is a thinbg to worry about. I mean, I am playing with thoughts building a new Intel/AMD System too, but I was also more tempted to build AMD and I would be happy to share and discuss other opinions about this M. Come off it. Ridiculous comment. In case you failed to realise, this is a discussion forum, and we are discussing new systems. Jump back on your bike and cycle on.

October 12, 20223 yr Would it be possible to get rid of the shimmering with this coming update ??, using RTX 2080 Super with latest 517.48 Game Ready driver, DLSS DX12, no VR. Edited October 12, 20223 yr by jymp

Is this AMD system upgradeable to the new 7900X3D when it is out?
October 12, 20223 yr Glad to know, I am not the only one thinking of upgrading to either 13900K or 7900X3D 😉, new graphic card can wait though. Pretty word not allowed sure that the 7x00X3D will come for the AM5 socket as well, yes. Unlike Intel, AMD doesnt change the socket for every second CPU generation... October 12, 20223 yr the only match for the AMD Ryzen 7950x3D should be Intels upcoming Meteor Lake, based on their new 7nm process, whereas their current power hungry 13900K is still based on the outdated 10nm process, that's why Intel calls it now their "Intel 7", though it is no match for real 7nm and only a placeholder until early 2023.
