Is this a good developer?  Can we count on them to deliver a PMDG/Fenix style airplane?

Looks promising, i just hope it replicates as near as possible real operation of the aircraft.

It's not going to be PMDG or Fenix level. More along the lines of Aerosoft.

This may be a good stopgap depending on the pricing until the PMDG 757 arrives which is likely still a couple of years out

Who says PMDG is doing a 757? pure speculation at this point.

Well it wasn't explicitly stated. Robert held up a model of a 757 when he was part of one of the Asobo Q&A's a while back when mentioning some of the things they were working on
