Please replace all references to Update 10, to be now read as Update 11, General Release, not Beta...my error.  I am running with General Release Update 11

Sim Update 11 is a beta at the moment.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Sorry I don't mean to confuse things further but SU11 is only in Beta

I need clarification. After reading @Sesquashtoo's OP, I did a Google search and read about FSR, and then downloaded the open-source files (but have not yet installed them). After seeing @V1ROTA7E's post above, is my assumption correct that this new FSR technology is already built-in to the SU11 beta? So I really don't need to install anything? I just need to wait for SU11? My 1070 card is supported.

David...not FSR....but FS Realistic...v 2.0.5, just released.  THAT is the program also running along side Google Maps.  There is a hotfix for v2.0.5   to v2.0.6. that will released within 48 hours.  Just got notification.

The OP is clear about being in SU10 so it could be FSRealistic?

Michael Moe

It is FS Realistic, Michael.  The latest will be a hotfix turned out within 48 hours...to v2.0.6

Does DX12 have any glitches still, like the ground textures popping through the asphalt?

Yes, both in SU10 and SU11 beta.

Does FSR 2 have the same limitation as DLSS when it comes to blurry cockpit displays?

My cockpits are sharper when using the dsr upscaling, but as i understood we are in a wrong topic, just wanted to answer your question 🤓

I'm finding the DLSS blurry displays have got a lot better since I installed the 522 Nvidia drivers. Much better, I'm actually sticking with DX12+DLSS for a bit and very smooth 30-50 frames with no pan-stutters at all. Things look promising in a few places right now. The upside right now is very exciting.

Just a question for Ses, what are you doing with the turbulence setting? Now that msfs has this in abundance, I have been turning the movement part way down.

I actually had my Cessna 172 Float bucking like a bronco, BEFORE I installed FSRealistic v2.0.5  and Frank,  never did change the camera movement within the app.   So, with  the default FS REAL v2.0.5 settings,  I am getting a truly wonderful real-life head movement visual experience when turbulence is encountered.   I just got v2.0.6 and installed before coming onto this thread.   So, later I will give that a whirl (with still default settings as placed upon my 172 Float...and see if there are any changes for even the better or worse then what I found entirely acceptable with default v2.0.5.
