GA Ai with FSLTL... possible?

Recommended Posts

So I'm pretty much sold on FSLTL as my airliner AI app.  Question is, what about something equivalent for GA AI?  Seems all the GA AI addons I've come across need to run in offline mode which is not too good for FSLTL.  I don't mine turning of FSLTL and running offline if I'm at a nice GA airport out in the woods.  What I would like is some AI GA flying around when I do.  I've tired a lot of combinations - had some 50 GA aircraft at Gillespie Field Field in Sand Diego but after 20 minutes not a single takeoff or landing (I know, I was timing it).

So what are others out there doing?  Can I have my cake and eat it too?

Yes you can. You need to run them in offline mode, but that's not really a problem with FSLTL. I've tried it and it works. There's Phantoms GA mod over at flightsim.to and SimFlea's payware option at simmarket.com.

Thx Cpt_Piett and all for the feedback.  Thought I tried that but maybe not.  Will give it a go.  😊

The other day I was watching a 172 doing touch and goes at Renton - on radar 24 and in Sim.

I thought that was pretty cool

I had nearly 2 mid air collisions with a C172 and a Baron over Santa Barbara yesterday 😁

So yes, live GA works. I've already combined some freeware Helicopters (and Gliders) with ELT and this works also pretty nice.

Helos over Manhattan and Rikers Island....I couldn't believe it
