Have spent some time watching at KPDX and I've noticed that the learner isn't getting data for certain freighters. I watched ATN, and GTI as well as some FDX (CFS as well) and UPS go unnoticed. They all appear in Real Traffic, but don't get added to the airport.xml .

On that note, does anyone have a solid airport file for Flightbeams KPDX in MSFS?

My questions:

* Are their cargo gates in the airport file of KPDX? In the stock version there are not any....

* Is there ground traffic?         Otherwise no real="true" entries to the airport file

* Did you checked auto adjust in Learner for KPDX? Otherwise a non cargo gate will not  change to a cargo gate if a cargo aircraft parkes there, and hence no entries in the file...

There are cargo spots where they should be parking but they are also only 22m which is a bit on the small side for B767/MD11 sized aircraft. I didn't think it made a difference with PSXT though. I did change the spots in the my updated KPDX.xml to 26m, not knowing what the result would be but it's backed up in case it goes awry.

I've seen some of the smaller CFS C208's parked over there recently which is a good sign that it's learning, but still none of the larger freighters.

Haha... No, oddly I hadn't had that checked for PDX.. Most other airports it is.

Dave,

Could you please share your xml file for Flightbeam KPDX? For some reasons PSXT captures only 8 (eight!!!) parking spots available at the scenery. Thank you!

What do you mean by "8 parking spots"? Is that all parking including gate, ramp cargo, and ramp GA?

Hmm, I'm looking at PDX in LittleNavMap and see 38 gates identified, along with all cargo parking locations that correspond to FedX, UPS, etc. parking when viewed on Google Maps. When hovering on the cargo parking the info shows them as "Ramp Cargo". My KPDX.xml in updated has larger cargo spots at 30m, a few 37m, a 27m, a couple 15m and a bunch of 11m. My KPDX.xml in thirdparty does indeed show largest cargo at 22m. Just run Learner on it and it should update the cargo radius.

LNM shows the largest cargo spots at 144ft. with 1 @ 150ft. (Parking 257)

Do you use LNM, if so what do you see?

I don't think I had ever run Learner on PDX, so fired up Learner and in about 10 mins. it captured 3 or 4 new cargo entries.
