Addon airports not recognised

Hi Nico,

I recently bought Pisa and Geneva from simMarket. Both sceneries had to be installed with the simMarket App btw... Unfortunately, PSXT does not recognise them as addon airports but as default aiports. That leads to vanishing aircraft after touchdown, so I have never seen aircraft sitting at the gates or taxiing.
 

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Holger,

Did you push the Airports button after you had installed these two airports? 

Then you should see airport files in the thirdparty_airports folder and PSXT will pick them the next time you start at one of these airports.

Vanishing aircraft after landing has nothing to do with the airports file.

Hi Niko,

I see - sorry, my fault! I thought that as long as the Scenery Addon folder is specified in the parameters, it would recognise new entries automatically. Pressing the Scan-Button has helped.

Ah, I see. Is there anything that one can do to prevent that?

First you should check if there is ground traffic at all at Pisa airport -I don't think so-, at Geneva there certainly  is.

Manual 6.1

Be aware that if you add new airports to your Simulator, you always perform a new scan!

Hi Nico,

thanks for your replies. Pisa Airport has working AI Traffic (AMSIM Version). Geneva as well.. Everything is working fine now.

I fly out of KTYQ airport frequently. Also have a payware airport of KTYQ.

I did push airports button and also the learner.

Somehow when i'm at KTYQ airport and run PSXT i have 'User aircraft on the ground at 02ll, no airport file found'.

I also added on the parameters file this airport path.

On RealTraffic i'm at KTYQ airport.

 

Any sugestion please ?

These two airports are probably very close to each other?

Is checkbox  Biggest checked?  And if that does not work, try to positiion your aircraft more to the center of KTYQ.
