I hadn't noticed but yeah it does look high. 202 is Vfe maybe? October 23, 20223 yr 202 knots is the number. I'm retired now but flew various king airs for quite a few years. Dave
October 23, 20223 yr I haven't bought this yet. On the fence. I was impressed with the caravan, and it's been a good purchase.....so I am interested in just how accurate this king air 350 mod is for things like engines, electrics, pressurization, performance etc. Dave

With he Caravan the cost of the King Air is about 27.00 if I remember so not going to put anyone in the poorhouse. As a pilot with lots of B350 time I suspect you will enjoy the depth of this modification to the default King Air. Is everything modeled? Pretty much so. Is it all perfect? No, but what is and if you remember the launch where system modeling issues arose from SU10 beta and just how keen, engaged and transparent the developers were to find the source and resolve quickly I think you can have faith it will evolve to all you hope it to be, and for now? It’s a Hoot to fly! -B

It's better than stock but not great as far as turboprops go. Almost no addon dev has done a nice job on turboprops maybe except Milviz and Majestic. Other than that I love it. It's got the Realair Turbine Duke feel to me - there are tons of switches - well you'll feel at home if you flew one. I'm usually cruising in the lower FL's and getting about 280-290 ktas. Pickup a nice tailwind and you're 6 miles a minute. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

I thought i had seen something to the effect of 25% off if you owned the C208. I sent a communication to JF asking so I'll await their response. Change of topic.... have you got the Honda Jet and if so your thoughts.

I can’t remember exactly but I believe it involved a discount code sent by Justflight to Caravan buyers. If you don’t have that e email I suggest a quick note to Justflight support and I’m sure they will resolve. -B
October 24, 20223 yr You only get the discount when you bought the Caravan. It's worth the price such a great plane. Running i5-9600K @ 4.8ghz - 32GB DDR4 3200mhz - GTX 3070.
October 24, 20223 yr Author Thanks Guys, success at last! Ryan, you hit the nail on the head - in the TDS settings software, the GPS autopilot source was set to HDG, not NAV as it should be, and the TDS software out of date. Because it runs in the background, and is invisible unless you bring it up, I'd forgotten it was there! Just one quick question - in the TDS software you can cycle the Navigation source through Undefined. 750 unit1, or MSFS, is there a preferred source, I've got a Navigraph subscription? Really appreciate your help guys, I wouldn't have managed on my own. Opens up a world of interesting approaches. Working exactly as it should. Cheers Eugene
October 24, 20223 yr No navigraph won't work with it - just set it to unit 1 or whatever the default is. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
October 26, 20223 yr I just flew an LPV approach, but when disconnecting the autopilot at 300 ft AGL, my yoke and rudder both froze up... Only the toe brakes still moved in the cockpit, the flight controls did not budge. Nothing I did, would unfreeze them.. Has anyone seen this happen? @ryanbatc? Bert

Flew it two more times, and luckily no repeat of this "random failure" (?) 🙂 Bert
October 27, 20223 yr Just a touch up for the HSI... for the TDS GTN version (do not know about the PMS), the glideslope indicator starts higher than the ATT version just above it, making it invisible at first. A simple adjustment to the XML file can make the two track together.. Contact me via PM if this is something that you would like adjusted.. 😉 Bert
