November 8, 20223 yr Hi, On my setup the only way to get rid of stutters is to NOT use Vsync in both Nvidia and XP12. Best performance comes from the following settings. Max Frame Rate 30FPS Power Management Mode: Prefer Max Power Texture Filtering: High Performance Vsync: Off Monitor Resolution locked at 30Hz XP12 unchecked Vsync I've found this give me the best performance even with my EVGA FTW3 3090 board with no 3D flight deck. I'm not wasting my precious time trying to tweak my computer around less than optimal software. It's up to the vendor to get their software to an acceptable performance level. Having said that, I accept it is still in beta, so I'll be patient. i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.
November 9, 20223 yr When updating Nvidia drivers, it's best to pull your network connection before installing them (grab the new driver package prior, of course.) Driver packages have become a little too complicated to rely on DDU, IMO. I just uninstall from Settings -> Apps or even Control Panel -> Programs and Features. It may take a couple of reboots to get rid of all the Nvidia stuff (PhysX, audio drivers, etc.) Reboot after new clean driver install, *then* re-connect to the net. If you stay connected to the net, MS may also install some driver stuff from ~2021. This is if you're running Win10. Why did you download a beta then? What question is that? He downloaded it because XP12 Beta is the only version currently available to test the product for free before buying it ! I also downloaded the XP12 Beta to test it, and was very disappointed with too many problems --- (magenta bug... bad anti-aliasing... dark cockpits... blurry textures... overall graphics no better than my custom XP11) --- so I will not currently purchase this product. The beta demos are important: they help the buyer not to waste money, and they help the company to classify the bugs reported by the users.
