I wouldn't mind if iniBuilds moved on to re-focus on their A380 after the A310 release as their first paid offering for MSFS, as opposed to paid variants of the A310 (but then again we have the freeware FBW A380 coming). Their A380 seems be on hold for the moment..

Yes, I wouldn't be putting any other resource into A380 development until FBW have released theirs.  If it is very good, as we know FBW can be, then they will not get many sales.
Personally I would love the A300.  B2, B4, and -600 versions.  There would be some great colours to go on them.  Not too bothered about the Beluga version.

I just remembered.  The Curtiss Jenny and the Grumman G22 Goose are missing as well.  I will go $17 and $20 respectively.

And I am also betting on another unannounced surprise.  There has to be a bit of a surprise.  Jorg loves them!

Chicago Meigs Filed has been talked about, but I am thinking about another 'aerospace' vehicle.  Anyone for a Lear Jet?

Would love a LearJet - but does depend on how well it is done, but there is quite a list there already - they have to leave some stuff for future expansions (or even sales).

Overall it's great value for "free", but nothing there I would actually buy .. .. that stuff is coming later in the year (for free 😉 ) .. ..

"...I am delighted and thrilled to finally announce that Aeroplane Heaven has been invited to partner with Microsoft to bring you the DC-3/C-47 package as part of the free 40th Anniversary pack in November. We have been under an NDA for a while but now we can finally talk about this exciting opportunity for us and for you guys. The package will be the self-same one we would release ourselves with more features and additional advantages..."

I wonder if this means we will get a ski and float version. As we know, MS / Asobo love a bit of that!

These are all going to be cut down versions compared to if they were full releases. I'm thinking £12 each which is what the cut down Carenado 'Legends' are.

 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2  - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

Not sure about the other aircraft on the list, but certainly not the case for the iniBuilds A310... that's not being cut down at all, and in fact has more features and/or reworked features compared their XP model (see ini's announcement https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/5112-inibuilds-development-update-partnership-with-microsoft-flight-simulator/ and this recent thread on here https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/624376-a310/).

Even some of the other birds on that list I'd say might be medium fidelity like the Milviz Beaver, DC-3, Bell 407, etc.. but yes those might've been more meaty if they were released for pay by their devs.

Somehow, I don't think so. The reason is, these companies have reputations to maintain. The flight sim community is pretty harsh and will just jump on any of these companies if what is released is a "cut down" version.

Milbird have already admitted that the Beaver is not going to have the usual bells and whistles their products have these days. I'm not saying they will be bad but they will be free, so don't expect amazing.

Oh, do you have a link to this exact comment by Milviz? I would like to read or watch what they said exactly.

Nope. I can't remember if I read it here or at another forum but I remember thinking, fair enough, it's going to be free anyway so why should they go all out.

Not the A310 at least.

So here is a list of the new aircraft coming in SU11, the 40th anniversary edition of MSFS:

Put together, what are all these aircraft worth?

If the iniBuilds A310 is study level, I think the iniBuilds A310 is worth like $60 USD itself. I would have expected iniBuilds to price their A310 similar to the Fenix A320 and PMDG 737.  $60 USD is practically the price of the Standard edition of MSFS.

Personally, I may have purchased the Beaver if it didn't come free in SU11. I probably would have paid some $30 USD for the Beaver, because it's made by Milviz, and Milviz has made pretty good quality aircraft in MSFS already.  What about the other aircraft coming in SU11? I don't know how to price the other aircraft, but if people can come up with a rough price of what the other aircraft are worth, I wouldn't mind figuring out what the total cost of all these aircraft are worth in SU11.

You're missing a couple, that's an outdated list

Historical Aircraft:
Wright Flyer
Ryan NYP (“Spirit of St. Louis”)
Douglas DC-3
De Havilland Canada DHC-2-Beaver
Curtiss JN-4 Jenny
Grumman G-21 Goose
Hughes H-4 Hercules

True-to-Life Airliner:
Airbus A310

Helicopters:
Bell-407
Guimbal Cabri G2

Gliders:
DG Flugzeugbau LG8-18
DG Flugzeugbau DG1001E neo

There's also going to be new airports, but they haven't said how many, but one of them is Meigs Field.

I'd pay $35 for the DC-3.

They said this on the milviz discord asome time ago when they announced they were handing it out as an Asobo release, maybe stated elsewhere also.

If, as seems the case, it doesn't come with the Cargo and other variants or engine options then it's explicitly lacking features that are included in the in the XP version.

That to me is a pretty accurate description of "cut-down".
