I plan on flying Cargo routes from KLAX, KSAN to Honolulu, French Polynesia and Marshall Islands with the A310.

Well the A310 coming is just PAX. Unless you’re just going to pretend it’s the cargo variant.

Darn!

Asus Maximus X Hero Z370/ Windows 10
MSI Gaming X 1080Ti (2100 mhz OC Watercooled)
8700k (4.7ghz OC Watercooled)
32GB DDR4 3000 Ram
500GB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SERIES SSD M.2

If the Dash 7 comes out around that day from SimWorks Studios, I will be flying the Dash 7, then the A310 most likely.

AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram

The DHC-2 for me.

A310. The Black Square King Air is my top GA aircraft. Nothing comes close.

Running i5-9600K @ 4.8ghz - 32GB DDR4 3200mhz - GTX 3070.

DC3 and Beaver

None, I really hope to have the option to not download any of these.  The helo thing could be ok, but we already have a better one available (HPG H135/45 Helicopter Project).

Cant wait until they put their efforts into AI and ATC.

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

is this a new appetizer, opening screenshots showing upcoming helicopters, incl. Bell Jetranger & Velociraptor?

How can you say that without actually trying the ones coming this week?

No such luck. It's an update like Game of the Year edition from last year. You can delete them from the Content Manager after they're downloaded.

I will wait for the reviews.

I have a feeling there are going to be some disappointed folks out there on update day. Helis look cool, as do gliders... but if the other free airplanes they have released are any indication, I would not get your hopes up.

Not all of these planes are made by Asobo. You can't judge all of them.

The A310 was made by IniSimulations for example, which have said it's on par and better than their X-Plane version in some places.

iniSimulations are also making the G-21 Goose and JN-4 Jenny.

The gliders are by FlightSim Studio AG
DC-3 is by Airplane Heaven
Bell 407 is by Nemeth Design
DHC-2 Beaver is by Blackbird Simulations (Milviz)
"Spirit of St. Louis" and Cabri G2 are Asobo.

The only ones we don't know are the Wright Flyer and Spruce Goose.

However we know, for example that Blackbird is toning down their Beaver, so that it is not fully featured. And we know, from past releases that Aeroplane Heaven makes a nice looking airplane, however flight model and systems depth are not top of mind. Hey, free is great, and people will get a lot of enjoyment I am sure... but I am a perfectionist when it comes to airplanes in the sim (probably too much so) so I hope I am pleasantly surprise.
