I was being sarcastic.....

Sarcasm breeds sarcasm. 🙂 (I think guenseli was also being sarcastic...in fact we're all being sarcastic if we've been in these forums as long as we have and not know which "Leonardo" we're referring to when its mentioned) 🙂

I'm not going to add anything useful really but I am (like I am with so many other DEV) frustrated with Leanardo.  This was my favorite airplane and DEV in/for P3D.  I remember we used to get great support and updates/new features.  Their forum used to be humming with activity and interaction with Stefano.  When the MD-82 came to MSFS, I bought it immediately.  Sadly, they really haven't touch it since release and it needs many fixes and refreshers.

Something has changed - and not for the better.  I'm not buying the -83/87 until they show major refinements to the model they have out.

If they have some solid foundation in place I think that is very good news.

Great news from Leonardo. I know they've been taking some heat from simmers due to their silence these last few months, but it's always good to find out they've been working silently to improve their product (unlike some other developers who pompously announce handfuls of nothing every few months).

Leonardo have had their absences in the past but ever since they made their comeback with P3D they have been top of their game, so I think this is a sign that their good work will continue. And having their confirmation that the MD-83 and -88 will go ahead is great!

They lost me when they sold an obvious p3d portover for a shyte load of money, then disappeared.

A heap of great developers out there now all offering superior products with superior service and superior pricing.  Leonardo late to the party.

I find it hard to return to the Maddog with the quality of the textures right now. I was enthusiastic and didn't care about them when the Maddog released for MSFS, but now that I'm spoiled by the Fenix and the 737, it feels a bit like going back to P3D. I'm sorry because it's a great airplane and product apart from that, but I just can't help myself. Here's hoping for a texture update in the near future.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

hi,

After all this silence, I was hoping for a greater news such as a new Virtual Cockpit specifically build for MSFS…and sound.

This is what I would expect with 90€ investment

Pierre

90€? The retail price is €75.

Ah. The extra €15 does not go to Leonardo but to the government. A drawback of selling only through Simmarket, which is legally required to add VAT for EU residents.
